On 11/16/09 Episode: Teamwork. House treated a Crohn's case with worms. Can we count this as the second celebrity endorsement of worm therapy?**
* If I understand correctly, House is based on Sherlock Holmes who was based on a real doctor Authur Conan Doyle knew while studying medicine. This is really a remarkable cultural mainstreaming of an experimental therapy.
** I know much of communication is non-verbal so a great deal gets lost. This is all tongue-in-cheek. Moreover, the regression to baseline after the diagnostic team eradicated the original worms was ridiculously compressed.
